  1. OH Wiki Bot — Privacy Policy

_Last updated: 8 July 2026_

    1. Summary

OH Wiki Bot ("the Bot") is built to need as little data as possible. It does

    • not** collect, store, or sell personal information, and it does **not** read

your server's message history.

    1. What the Bot receives

When you run a slash command (for example `/wiki`) or click one of the Bot's buttons, Discord sends the Bot the information needed to respond — such as the command or button you used and the option you selected. This is processed only to generate a reply and is **not** stored afterward.

The Bot uses only Discord's default permissions (Send Messages and Embed Links). It does not use the Message Content intent and therefore cannot read regular messages in your server.

    1. What the Bot does NOT do

- It does not store your messages, user IDs, or server data in a database. - It does not track, profile, or advertise to you. - It does not sell or share any data with third parties.

    1. Where information comes from

The Bot fetches publicly available pages from the Once Human Guide wiki (https://ohwikiguide.com) to build its replies. No private data is involved.

    1. Data retention

The Bot does not maintain a database of user or server information. Standard, short-lived operational logs (for example, error logs) may exist temporarily for reliability and are not used to identify individuals.

    1. Children's privacy

The Bot is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

    1. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
