Deviation Hunt — Privacy Notice

This notice covers Deviation Hunt: the Twitch chat bot (ohdeviationhunt), its website (deviationhunt.ohwikiguide.com) and the Deviation Hunt Twitch panel extension. It is a fan-made game for Once Human players (game guide) run by Once Human Guide (ohwikiguide.com), and is not affiliated with Starry Studio or NetEase.

What we collect

Players — when you use a game command such as !secure in a channel running Deviation Hunt, we store:

your Twitch user ID, username and display name
your game data: the deviations you've secured (with their ratings, traits and the time and channel they were caught), your Starchrom, your Securement Units and when you last claimed !daily

Streamers — when you add the bot to your channel we store your channel's Twitch ID, username, display name and your game settings (spawn timer, spawns on/off, spawn and catch totals). Signing in with Twitch to add the bot only confirms who you are; we do not keep your Twitch login token.

Twitch panel extension — the panel receives a signed token from Twitch. Only if you click Show my Deviation Bag and agree to Twitch's identity-sharing prompt does it include your Twitch user ID, which we use solely to look up and display your own collection. Nothing new is stored when you view the panel.

What we don't collect

We do not store your chat messages. The bot only looks for its own commands, and keeps an in-memory note of when a channel last had chat activity so deviations don't spawn in an empty chat.
No email addresses, passwords, payment details, location or device information.
No cookies, advertising, analytics or tracking in the panel extension.

How it's used and shared

Your data is used only to run the game. Your username and collection are public: they appear in chat results, on your collection page (/u/yourname), in the panel and on the leaderboard. We do not sell or share data with anyone. Game data is hosted on Railway (railway.com); Twitch provides chat and the extension.

Keeping and deleting your data

Game data is kept while the game is running so your collection follows you between channels. Streamers can remove the bot from their channel at any time with !hunt leave. To have your player or channel data deleted, ask on the Once Human Guide Discord and it will be removed.

Children

Deviation Hunt is for Twitch users, who must meet Twitch's minimum age. We don't knowingly collect data beyond what's listed above from anyone.
